A New and Bold Direction

Hello my Lewdites and Reddheads!

I wanted to inform you of a new update and a bold new direction for the future of my books.

Some might know this already, Amazon has been a little trigger happy with banning authors for perceived bad actions. A fellow and well known author had their account shut down and banned because he was updating his books. The Amazon bots thought he was breaking the Amazon KDP contract. Some of this author’s works have been pirated and the Amazon bots are not too bright. There was no warning and he was banned from the platform. Thankfully, he reached out to Amazon and six days later his account was reinstated. Obliviously, he and many authors were concerned this could happen again, myself included.

It has never sat well with me that there was a possibility Amazon may change their rules and then start banning authors without warning. I know I write risque stories and have always known that Amazon may come for me too. I love my writing career but I can’t stand by and hope Amazon doesn’t come for me too, especially if I write a book that is a little too sexy to sell on KDP. I already had a few of my books banned from Amazon so it’s a real concern.

This leads me to something I have been feeling for a long time. I have felt constricted in my writing. I spend so much time holding back on what I want to write that it feels like I can’t be free. I like writing wild and sexy stories, as you can tell. I brainstormed some new ideas I want to try so, I don’t have anxiety that Amazon may kick me out of my chosen career.  

A New Direction
I’m going to be scaling back and spacing out my book releases. This, however, will not slow down my work.

I’m going to publish my normal novels on Amazon but I will also be writing a lewd novel on my Patreon. This Patreon Only novel will allow me to write a book where I can explore many ideas that I don’t think I can post to Amazon. It will give me the creative freedom to write darker and sickly sweet stories. This means I will be writing two novels at once, one for Amazon and one just for my Patreon.

My next book that will be published on Amazon is called Midknight: A Doom of Liches. It will take place in the same world as Card Mage but with a darker story line. The picture at the top is a rough sketch of the cover. I’m working with an amazing artist for the cover. I’ve written about five chapters so far and hopefully, I can have the book out in January/February 2021.

My Patreon Only novel is called Divine Forge. It’s a story about 4 lesser deities training to become greater deities. Did I forget to mention that the four deities are as perverted as Greek gods? 🙂 They start with their own planet and must create life, guide life to either grand enlightenment or complete destruction. Each chapter will be in short story form with an overarching plot. Once it is completed, I will have to decide if I publish it to the world or just keep it for my Patreon readers.

By publishing on Patreon, I may have some flexible room to create and not have all my eggs in one basket. This is where you come in. I can’t do this without your support. Joining my Patreon will give you exclusive content and help pave the way for not staying chained to Amazon’s rather strict rules. (Nothing against Amazon as I’m sure they are doing their best but I do have to look out for my career too.)
